Crash Injures 2 at Dakota, West Ave in Fresno

Fresno, CA – In the early hours of Thursday, November 13, 2025, a two-vehicle collision sent two women to the hospital with injuries, according to KSEE.

The Fresno Police Department reports that the accident took place around 3:00 AM at the intersection of Dakota and West avenues.

Emergency crews provided medical assistance to both drivers before transporting them to a nearby hospital for further evaluation and treatment. Their current conditions have not yet been released by authorities.

Investigators said the crash occurred when one of the drivers appeared to have failed to stop at a red light, resulting in a significant impact in the intersection. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage, and the scene required temporary lane closures as officers conducted an investigation and cleared debris from the roadway.

Police have not confirmed which driver ran the stoplight or whether impairment or speed played a role in the crash.

The Fresno Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances leading up to the collision to determine the contributing factors and establish liability.

Personal Injury Claims & Comparative Negligence

Determining fault in a collision can involve multiple factors, and under California’s Comparative Negligence rule, several parties can share partial responsibility. Should evidence reveal that another party contributed to the injuries, victims may be eligible to file a Personal Injury Claim with the responsible party’s insurance, which can provide compensation for medical bills and lost wages during recovery.
