When police arrived on scene, they discovered that two vehicles collided at the intersection of Newcomb and Teapot Dome. A 29-year-old man was allegedly traveling on Newcomb at a high rate of speed when he failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection. This caused his vehicle to collide with a second vehicle.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. The two individuals in the second vehicle, identified as a 60-year-old male driver and a 74-year-old female, were tragically pronounced dead on scene due to traumatic injuries. The 29-year-old sustained major injuries and was hospitalized.
Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the accident at this time.
