Several Teens Injured in Pedestrian Accident at Roosevelt High School Bus Stop in Fresno

For years, the city of Fresno has been taking a close look at the high rates of pedestrian accidents and how to reduce the number of these accidents. With pedestrian accidents taking hundreds of lives every year, there have been plans to implement red light cameras, radar signs, and more in Fresno at major intersections. Drivers owe a duty of care to pedestrians at all times but negligent acts still take place and cause catastrophic results.

Fresno is home to many dangerous intersections such as Shaw and Valentine Avenues. When a serious pedestrian accident involving a vehicle occurs, these vulnerable parties are left with severe trauma or even have their lives taken. Being a pedestrian comes with many risks, especially when drivers are not using caution on our roads.
