Bakersfield, CA – On the morning of Sunday, February 15, 2026, a single-vehicle rollover crash resulted in fatal injuries to 28-year-old Carlos Emilio Ramirez, Jr., according to KBAK.
The Kern County Coroner’s Office reports that the accident took place around 10:24 AM on Lerdo Highway at Buttonwillow Raceway Park.
Authorities stated that Ramirez Jr. was driving at the raceway when the vehicle was involved in a rollover. Emergency personnel responded to the scene shortly after the crash was reported.
Despite lifesaving efforts, Ramirez Jr. was pronounced dead at the scene due to the injuries he sustained. Officials confirmed that no other victims were reported in connection with the incident.
