Tulare County, CA – In the early hours of Sunday, November 30, 2025, a single-vehicle collision claimed the life of 29-year-old Parlier Police Officer Jesus Dario Corona, according to KSEE.
The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office reports that the crash occurred around 04:53 AM in the 13500 block of Avenue 152, east of Tipton, in southern Tulare County.
Officer Corona was on his way to work when he was involved in the collision and suffered fatal injuries at the scene despite the response efforts of deputies, EMS, and the Visalia CHP.
Authorities noted he is survived by his wife and six-year-old daughter, both of Porterville.
Investigators are continuing to examine the circumstances leading up to the crash, and the Parlier Police Department expressed condolences while acknowledging the support they received from first responders and partner agencies.
Single-Vehicle Collisions
In some cases, investigations may reveal that even in a single-vehicle accident, nearby drivers or unsafe road features share some responsibility. California’s Comparative Negligence rule means that, even if those injured in accidents are found partially at fault, they may still be eligible to receive partial compensation for damages.
