November 5, 2025, Fresno, CA: A man tragically lost his life in a fatal big rig accident at a Fresno intersection on Wednesday.
According to ABC30, the accident happened on Wednesday morning at the intersection of American Avenue and Del Ray Avenue. Police confirmed that a man was driving a Dodge Challenger in the area behind a big rig. The driver of the big rig started to turn into the POM Wonderful plant and the driver of the Dodge failed to notice this for reasons that are still under investigation. They slammed into the back of the big rig.
Paramedics were called to the scene. The driver of the Dodge was tragically pronounced dead on scene due to his injuries. The male driver of the big rig was injured and hospitalized but is expected to fully recover.
