Fresno County, CA – In the early hours of Thursday, November 13, 2025, a collision involving two big rigs left both drivers with injuries and caused a temporary power outage for hundreds of residents, according to KFSN.

The California Highway Patrol reports that the crash took place shortly after 2:30 AM at the intersection of Maple and American avenues in Fresno County.

Investigators said one of the drivers, operating an eastbound trailer, appeared to have failed to stop at a stop sign, leading to a collision between the two big rigs. The impact caused the vehicles to strike a power pole, bringing down live electrical wires and sparking a small brush fire nearby.
