Modesto, CA – On the morning of Saturday, October 25, 2025, a serious two-vehicle crash in northwest Modesto left one person with major injuries after being ejected from a vehicle, according to The Modesto Bee.

The Modesto Police Department reports that the collision occurred around 8:00 AM at the intersection of Pelandale Avenue and Prescott Road. When emergency crews arrived, they found bystanders performing CPR on a man who had been thrown from his vehicle by the force of the crash.

Officials from the Modesto Fire Department said responders were able to regain the man’s pulse before transporting him to Doctors Medical Center for emergency treatment. His condition remains unknown at this time. A second individual sustained minor injuries and was also taken to a local hospital for medical care.

Both Prescott Road and Pelandale Avenue were closed for several hours as police investigated the scene, documented evidence, and worked to determine the circumstances that led to the collision. The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
