Avenal, CA – On the morning of Thursday, October 23, 2025, a head-on collision between two big rigs left both drivers injured and resulted in a serious oil spill, according to The Fresno Bee.

The Kings County Fire Department reports that the accident took place around 6:20 AM near Highway 33, north of South 7th Avenue in Avenal. Emergency crews were dispatched immediately after the crash was reported.
