Bakersfield, CA – On the afternoon of Sunday, August 31, 2025, a collision involving multiple vehicles on Frazier Mountain Park Road near Arroyo Trail left at least one person with major injuries, according to KBAK.
CHP reported the crash occurred just before 2:30 PM and involved a white Chevrolet Trailblazer and a silver Toyota Prius. Emergency crews arrived shortly after the incident and found the roadway completely blocked. One vehicle came to rest on its roof, trapping at least one person inside.
The driver of the Toyota Prius was found on the ground on the right side of the road. Firefighters and medical personnel worked to assist those injured, while additional towing services were called to the scene to help clear the wreckage.
Authorities confirmed that at least one person sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. The full extent of the injuries has not yet been released.
The California Highway Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances of the crash and has not yet provided further details.
