Bakersfield, CA – On the evening of Monday, September 8, 2025, a motorcycle crash left at least one rider with serious injuries, according to KBAK.

The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place around 5:37 PM near Garces Highway (155) just west of Blue Mountain Road.

CHP investigators said the motorcyclist appeared to have lost control of the bike while traveling along the highway. The rider went down an embankment and fell more than 10 feet before coming to rest below the roadway. Officials described the injuries as serious and confirmed that emergency crews transported the motorcyclist to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Paramedics worked at the scene for several minutes as they stabilized the rider before transport. Authorities did not provide the victim’s name, age, or city of residence. They also have not shared any updates on the rider’s current medical condition.
