July 28, 2024, Bakersfield, CA: Two people sustained severe injuries in a car accident that took place at a Bakersfield intersection. According to KGET, the collision occurred around 6:45 p.m. at the intersection of Allen and Hageman Roads on Sunday evening.
CHP reported that two vehicles collided at Allen and Hageman while entering the intersection. The vehicles came to a rest in the middle of the intersection, blocking traffic for a short period of time.
One individual involved in the accident suffered a severe leg injury and was rushed to Kern Medical for treatment. Another victim was taken to the hospital for treatment of broken bones.
California Highway Patrol continues to investigate what led to the collision at this time.
