July 23, 2024, Arvin, CA: A hit-and-run accident in Arvin took place near an intersection that led to injuries in one individual on Tuesday afternoon. According to information provided by KGET, the accident happened on Tejon Highway near its intersection with Mountain View Road.
California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of the crash at 2 p.m., where they discovered that two vehicles collided with each other due to reasons that are still being investigated. Two people inside one of the vehicles fled the scene on foot into a nearby field, while the two others remained on the scene. The suspects allegedly had a weapon inside their vehicle.
The driver of the second vehicle that was struck by the suspects was injured and taken to the hospital for treatment. Their current condition is not yet known.
Police did not say if they caught the parties involved in the accident at this time. Their investigation into the accident remains ongoing.
