When Fresno Police Department officials arrived on scene, they found that a man was struck by a pickup truck at the intersection while he was traveling eastbound on Clinton. The driver of the pickup truck stopped and remained on scene until emergency responders and police arrived.
The bicyclist, identified as a 40-year-old man, was seriously injured in the accident. He was rushed to a local hospital for treatment but was tragically pronounced dead while there.
