Though pedestrian accidents are not the most common types of collisions in Sanger, they still occur every year and cause catastrophic results to victims. In 2022, the Transportation Injury Mapping System (TIMS) estimated that a total of four pedestrians were injured in Sanger pedestrian accidents throughout the year. These accidents affect many individuals but children are some of the most vulnerable, as they may not always be aware of the dangers on our roads until it is too late.
Because pedestrians are the most vulnerable parties on our roads with no protection from harm in an accident, they are more likely to lose their lives than others. Unfortunately, children are also incredibly vulnerable in these accidents, which is why drivers are supposed to be on the lookout for them at all times. If a child is killed in a fatal pedestrian accident, it can leave families in a difficult position. Speaking with a skilled legal advocate can ensure that your rights are being protected after an accident that has taken a loved one from you.
