On Sunday morning, one person had their life tragically taken as a result of a fatal accident in Fresno. According to a report from ABC30, the accident occurred at 4 a.m. at the intersection of McKinley Avenue and West Avenue on the morning of February 18, 2024.
Fresno Police responded to the scene, where they discovered that a driver was traveling in the area when they crashed through a fence at the intersection. The vehicle then struck a tree, where it came to a rest.
When paramedics arrived on scene, they found that two people were ejected from the car and two were trapped inside. One person was tragically pronounced dead on scene due to traumatic injuries. The other three victims were rushed to a nearby hospital but their current condition is not yet known.
Police did not yet determine what led to the crash. Their investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
