DUI Accident Leads to Injuries on Tozer Street in Fresno
A rollover accident involving a suspected DUI driver injured a passenger in an accident on Wednesday morning. The accident, according to a Your Central Valley report, occurred in the early morning hours of Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at the intersection of Tozer Street and Avenue 15 in Fresno.
According to Fresno Police, the accident happened when a man was allegedly traveling in the area and lost control of his vehicle near the intersection, going 75 feet off the road and overturning his pickup truck. Police claim that the driver was allegedly under the influence at the time of the crash.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help. The man’s passenger was injured as a result of the crash. They were taken to the hospital and are expected to be okay.
The driver was arrested and booked in jail on a felony DUI charge.
No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident remains ongoing at this time.
