Bakersfield is filled with many destinations for miles – from large parks to doctor’s offices, supermarkets, and manufacturing plants. Many people choose to get around the city by foot instead of other modes of transportation. Though traveling by foot can be a great way to get exercise, it can also be a dangerous method of transportation for pedestrians who receive injuries or lose their lives in accidents every year.
In Bakersfield, there are many ways in which a pedestrian can become involved in an accident involving a large motor vehicle or truck. Unfortunately, crosswalks are very far and few in-between in Bakersfield, making for many dangers. If you and your family have lost a loved one in a fatal pedestrian accident, it is important that you seek the assistance of a legal advocate that you can trust.
