Pedestrian Hospitalized After Struck by Motorcycle in Fresno
A woman was hospitalized after getting hit by a motorcycle in northeast Fresno Thursday night. KGPE-TV reports the accident occurred around 8:30 p.m. on Cedar Avenue near Shaw Avenue on September 2, 2021.
Fresno Police say the victim, a woman in her 60s, was hit by a man on a motorcycle while trying to cross Cedar Avenue. She suffered a head injury and was rushed to the hospital.
Police officers say the motorcyclist returned to the scene shortly after it occurred. The motorcyclist fell off his bike during the crash and was also taken to the hospital with injuries. Police do not suspect drugs or alcohol played a part in the crash. Their investigation continues.
