It’s raining, but you’re busy and can’t let it slow you down. You get into your car and hit the roads. The problem is, so does everyone else, which only compounds the danger. According to Value Penguin, a research and analysis company, Highway 99 is the most dangerous road in the country. Highway 99 covers 424 miles from the Grapevine through Red Bluff and winds through Fresno. Largely agricultural, the region feeds the country and has a high volume of big-rig trucks. The density of vehicles paired with dangerous conditions and unpredictable drivers can lead to a traffic infrastructure that is more susceptible to crashes. Truck accidents may be more common than you think.
