October 26, 2026, Fresno, CA: On Monday morning, a big rig accident with injuries took place at an intersection in Fresno.
According to California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 10:14 a.m. at the intersection of Central Avenue and Del Rey Avenue. Police confirmed that a big rig and a Chrysler sedan collided with each other at the intersection. After the collision, the big rig then slammed into a pole, ripping down wires on top of the truck.
Paramedics and several other responders were called to the scene. One or more parties sustained injuries in the accident. Fire crews helped extricate the big rig driver safely due to the wires on his vehicle.
