September 14, 2026, Fresno, CA: A hit-and-run pedestrian accident with critical injuries took place at a Fresno intersection on Monday.
According to Your Central Valley, the accident happened at 3 a.m. at the intersection of Abby Avenue and Belmont Avenue. Police suspect that a driver intentionally struck a pedestrian who was walking across the street in the area. After intentionally targeting them, they fled the scene.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were called to the scene. The pedestrian, identified as a man in his 30s, sustained critical injuries in the accident. He was rushed to the hospital but his current condition is unknown.
Fresno Police are still looking for the responsible driver. Their investigation into the collision remains ongoing.
