August 6, 2026, Visalia, CA: A car accident that led to injuries took place at a Visalia intersection on Thursday morning.
According to California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at 11:12 a.m. at the intersection of SR-99 and Prosperity Avenue. Police confirmed that a white Honda Fit and a Gray Toyota Camry were involved in a collision due to reasons that are still being investigated. The white vehicle struck the guardrail following the accident. When police arrived, one vehicle was in the center divider and the other went down an embankment off the side of the road. Both suffered extensive damage.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more parties suffered injuries in the accident. They were immediately hospitalized, though their current conditions are not yet known.
