July 21, 2026, Visalia, CA: A tricycle accident that led to the death of one person took place on a major roadway in Visalia on Tuesday morning.
According to Visalia Stringer, the collision occurred at 5:22 a.m. on Avenue 120 around the area of Road 144. Police confirmed that a man over 50 was riding a tricycle in the westbound lanes of traffic. At the same time, an adult male in a Chevrolet pickup truck was headed westbound and approached the rear of the tricycle rider. They collided with the tricycle rider, not seeing them.
The tricycle rider was ejected onto the roadway was a result of the accident. They were pronounced dead by responding paramedics. The driver of the Chevrolet was not hurt as a result of the collision.
No further details have been released. Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the accident at this time.
