June 26, 2026, Visalia, CA: Injuries were reported in a DUI crash that led to an arrest at a Visalia intersection on Friday night.
According to Visalia Watchdog, the collision happened at 8 p.m. at the intersection of Akers Street and Wagner Avenue. Police confirmed that a driver was traveling in a Ford pickup truck when they were involved in a collision with a sedan. The Kia sedan sustained severe front-end damages.
Paramedics were called to the scene to assist those in need. Two people in the sedan sustained moderate injuries and were taken to the hospital.
Nobody inside the pickup truck was injured. However, the driver of the pickup truck was determined to be driving DUI at the time. An arrest was made.
