June 22, 2026, Fresno, CA: On Monday morning, a head-on collision led to a fatality on a roadway in Fresno.
According to Your Central Valley, the accident occurred at 5:24 a.m. on Manning Avenue in the area of Grantland Avenue. Police confirmed that a driver was traveling east in a big rig when their vehicle collided head-on with a Toyota pickup truck. The pickup truck was left with extensive front-end damages after catching on fire. The big rig was also badly damaged.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. The driver of the pickup truck was tragically pronounced dead on scene as a result of their injuries. The driver of the big rig was not injured.
