April 28, 2026, Bakersfield, CA: On Tuesday night, a pedestrian accident with injuries occurred near a Bakersfield intersection.
According to Bakersfield Now, the accident happened around 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of River Boulevard and Water Street. Police confirmed that a pedestrian was crossing the street in the area when they were suddenly struck by a pickup truck driver.
The adult pedestrian was conscious when paramedics arrived. However, they sustained major injuries and were hospitalized. Police are not aware of their current condition.
