April 28, 2026, Fresno, CA: A child sustained injuries in a pedestrian accident that took place at a Fresno intersection on Tuesday night.
According to Your Central Valley, the crash happened around 8 p.m. at the intersection of Peach Avenue and Nevada Avenue. Police confirmed that a 4-year-old toddler wandered into the roadway at the intersection due to reasons that are still being investigated. A driver struck the toddler and then continued on, not returning to the scene.
The pedestrian child was rushed to the hospital. They have since been listed in critical but stable condition due to their injuries.
