Sacramento County, CA – On the evening of Monday, April 20, 2026, a collision left four people hospitalized, including one in critical condition, in the Arden-Arcade area, according to ABC10.
The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place at Fulton Avenue and Maison Way.
Authorities said Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District crews responded to reports of a vehicle crash and arrived to find two vehicles involved in the collision with occupants trapped inside.
Extrication was required to free those trapped. Four people were transported to local hospitals, with one sustaining critical injuries and three others requiring treatment for their injuries.
The cause of the collision had not been determined at the time of reporting. The investigation remains ongoing.
Personal Injury Claims & Comparative Negligence
Determining fault in a collision can involve multiple factors, and under California’s comparative negligence rule, several parties can share partial responsibility. Should evidence reveal that another party contributed to the injuries, victims may be eligible to file a personal injury claim with the responsible party’s insurance, which can provide compensation for medical bills and lost wages during recovery.
