April 18, 2026, Visalia, CA: An accident involving an E-bike rider took place at a Visalia intersection and led to injuries on Saturday.
According to Visalia Stringer, the accident happened around 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Sunnyside Avenue and Chinowth Street. Police confirmed that a child was riding on an E-bike with his father riding behind him when the child’s E-bike was struck by a vehicle. The driver remained on scene after the accident.
The child was carried to the sidewalk by an adult male. When EMS arrived, they rushed the child to the hospital via ambulance. Their current condition is not yet known.
No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues.
