Crash near Fresno Yosemite Intl Airport at Dakota, Chestnut Ave Injures 3

Fresno, CA – In the early hours of Friday, April 10, 2026, a collision left three people in critical condition near Fresno Yosemite International Airport, according to ABC30.

The Fresno Police Department reports that the accident took place around 12:18 AM at Dakota and Chestnut Avenues.

Authorities said two vehicles were involved in the crash. One became wrapped around a pole, with one occupant pinned inside and another ejected from the vehicle. Both were transported to Community Regional Medical Center in critical condition. The driver of the second vehicle crashed through an airport fence, coming to rest inside the airport grounds, and was also listed in critical condition.

Fire and EMS crews responded to assist all three victims at the scene. Airport police were assisting Fresno Police with possible surveillance video from the area. It had not been confirmed whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash at the time of reporting.

The investigation remains ongoing.
