March 25, 2026, Bakersfield, CA: One person was injured in a head-on collision that took place at an intersection in Bakersfield on Wednesday afternoon.
Bakersfield Now says two vehicles were involved in the accident around 3:45 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 43 and Wasco Avenue. Police confirmed that one vehicle lost control, causing the driver to crash head-on into a second vehicle.
One person sustained injuries in the accident. They were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
