Parlier man, 24, Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash at Dinuba, Zediker Ave in Fresno County

Fresno County, CA – On the morning of Wednesday, March 25, 2026, a three-vehicle collision resulted in the death of a 24-year-old Parlier man, according to KSEE/KGPE, with additional reporting from CHP Fatal.

The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place around 6:30 AM at Dinuba and Zediker Avenues.

Authorities said a black Hyundai Elantra was traveling eastbound on Dinuba Avenue when it allegedly ran the stop sign at Zediker Avenue. A black Toyota Tundra traveling through the intersection struck the Hyundai, which was then pushed into a third vehicle. The third vehicle came to rest in an adjacent orchard with airbags deployed. Three tow trucks were requested for the vehicles involved.

The driver of the Hyundai was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Toyota Tundra sustained injuries. No other injuries among those involved were reported. The Fresno County Coroner’s Office was notified and responded to the scene.

The identities of those involved had not been officially released at the time of reporting. The investigation remains ongoing.

Stop Sign Laws

California law requires drivers to come to a complete stop at a Stop sign (California Vehicle Code 22450). Drivers may only enter the intersection when it appears safe for all parties to do so (California Vehicle Code 21802).

Wrongful Death Claims & Comparative Negligence

Determining fault in a collision can involve multiple factors, and under California’s comparative negligence rule, several parties can share partial responsibility.

Should someone else be found even partly responsible for the death, the family may be able to file a wrongful death claim against the at-fault driver’s insurance. This can provide compensation to help cover medical bills, funeral expenses, and the loss of income to support the family of the deceased.
