January 27, 2026, Fresno, CA: A hit-and-run accident led to serious injuries on a major roadway in Fresno on Tuesday afternoon.
According to California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 1:53 p.m. in the northbound lanes of SR-41. Police confirmed that a vehicle was struck by a second car in the area. The driver of the second vehicle fled the scene without stopping.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Three juveniles inside the vehicle that stayed behind sustained injuries. One sustained a major spinal cord injury while a passenger suffered a neck injury. They were rushed to local hospitals for treatment.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the collision remains ongoing.
