Garden Acres, CA – On the evening of Monday, January 19, 2026, a crash involving two San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office patrol vehicles resulted in injuries to three deputies, according to KCRA.
The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place around 5:00 PM near East Main Street and South Gillis Road.
Authorities said the deputies were operating separate patrol vehicles and were attempting to stop dirt bike and ATV riders near a nearby canal when the patrol vehicles collided with one another. Officials indicated the off-highway riders were allegedly driving recklessly and failed to stop prior to the collision.
