January 19, 2026, Coalinga, CA: A two-vehicle rollover accident that led to injuries took place on a highway in Coalinga on Monday afternoon.
The accident, according to California Highway Patrol, happened at 1:43 p.m. in the southbound lanes of I-5 near the Derrick Avenue area. Police confirmed that an orange SUV and a blue SUV collided with each other possibly due to fast speeds. One of the vehicles rolled over onto its roof as a result.
Paramedics responded and one or more parties sustained injuries. They were extricated from their vehicles and hospitalized. Their conditions are not yet known.
