According to Bakersfield Now, the accident happened at 1:51 a.m. at 4200 H Street around the area of White Lane. Police confirmed that a male pedestrian was struck by a passenger vehicle. When they arrived on scene, they found that he was lying in the roadway and the driver remained on scene.
