December 29, 2025, Fresno, CA: On Monday afternoon, a hit-and-run accident with injuries took place at an intersection in Fresno.
According to California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at 2:48 p.m. at the intersection of SR-180 and SR-99. Police confirmed that two vehicles were involved in an accident but only a silver Toyota Camry remained on scene. The other driver took off after the accident. Police eventually caught up to the driver, who was in a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado.
At least one person inside the Toyota that remained on scene was injured in the accident. It is not known if they were hospitalized after being treated on scene.
No further details have been released regarding the accident. Police continue to investigate the circumstances leading up to the collision.
