December 5, 2025, Bakersfield, CA: Two vehicles were involved in a hit-and-run crash with injuries that took place at a Bakersfield intersection on Friday afternoon.
The accident, according to California Highway Patrol, took place at 2:24 p.m. at the intersection of Rosedale Highway and Allen Road. Police confirmed that a white four-door Ford sedan and a white Chevrolet Traverse collided at the intersection. The driver of the Ford fled the scene immediately following the collision.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to assist those in need. One person inside the vehicle that remained on scene was injured. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police have not said if they found the driver responsible for the accident at this time. The investigation into the collision remains ongoing.
