Manteca, CA – On the morning of Thursday, November 6, 2025, a three-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle, van, and SUV left five people injured, according to ABC10.
The Manteca Police Department reports that the accident took place around 11:30 AM at the intersection of Main Street and Edison Street.
Authorities said a van making a left turn from southbound Main Street onto eastbound Edison Street collided with a motorcycle traveling north on Main Street. The impact caused the van to strike an SUV stopped at the westbound stop sign.
The motorcycle’s rider and passenger, both wearing helmets, were ejected and taken to the hospital with serious injuries but were conscious at the scene. The van’s driver and passenger, both in their 50s, were also transported to the hospital for complaints of pain. The SUV driver complained of head pain but was not hospitalized.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash and ask any witnesses who were not interviewed at the scene to contact the Manteca Police Department.
Personal Injury Claims & Comparative Negligence
Determining fault in a collision can involve multiple factors, and under California’s Comparative Negligence rule, several parties can share partial responsibility. Should evidence reveal that another party contributed to the injuries, victims may be eligible to file a Personal Injury Claim with the responsible party’s insurance, which can provide compensation for medical bills and lost wages during recovery.
