October 25, 2025, Fresno, CA: A fatal hit-and-run pedestrian accident took place at an intersection in Fresno on Saturday morning.
According to Your Central Valley, the accident happened around 3:40 a.m. at the intersection of Hughes Avenue and Weber Avenue. Police responded after they received reports of a person being struck by a vehicle in the area. The driver of the vehicle that struck them fled the scene after the accident.
Paramedics attempted lifesaving procedures on the victim. They were tragically pronounced deceased as a result of traumatic injuries.
Police did not say if they found the driver responsible for the accident as of yet. Their investigation into the accident remains ongoing at this time.
