Oakdale, CA – On the evening of Saturday, September 27, 2025, a three-vehicle collision killed Enrique Valadez, 30, according to The Modesto Bee.

The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place around 8:45 PM on Albers Road south of Valk Road.

Investigators stated that initial evidence suggests that Valadez, driving a 1999 Chevrolet pickup southbound on Albers Road, may have made an unsafe left turn and struck the left front of a northbound Volvo big rig. The impact forced the Volvo to turn left and collide with a Honda Accord traveling behind the pickup.

Emergency personnel responded and found Valadez dead at the scene from his injuries. The Stanislaus County Coroner’s Office confirmed his identity as an Oakdale resident.

The Modesto Fire Department reported that the drivers of the Volvo and the Honda sustained injuries. Responders transported both to local hospitals for medical treatment.

CHP investigators stated that alcohol may have played a role in the crash. Authorities continue to examine the circumstances that led to the collision.
