September 21, 2025, Visalia, CA: One person was injured in a hit-and-run collision that took place at an intersection in Visalia on Sunday morning.
According to Visalia Stringer, the crash took place around 9 p.m. at the intersection of Mooney Boulevard and Main Street. Police confirmed that a white Ford Explorer was struck by a driver who fled the scene. Police believed the suspect was in a white Honda.
The passenger inside the Explorer, identified as a minor, sustained injuries in the accident. They were transported to Kaweah Delta Hospital for treatment.
Later Sunday morning, police identified the vehicle in the hit-and-run. They did not mention anything about the suspect.
The road was blocked in multiple lanes following the incident until police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the collision continues.
