September 12, 2025, Fresno, CA: A box truck accident led to a fatality at an intersection in Fresno on Friday morning.
The accident, according to Your Central Valley, occurred at the intersection of Belmont Avenue and Siskiyou Avenue. Police confirmed that a driver was traveling east in a green sedan when they suddenly made a left turn, causing a box truck headed west to strike their vehicle. The accident led to extensive damages.
A couple in their sixties was inside the sedan. The driver was transported to Community Regional Medical Center with injuries. However, the passenger was tragically pronounced dead on scene due to their injuries. The driver of the box truck was also injured but is expected to be okay.
No further details have been released. California Highway Patrol continues its investigation into the accident.
