September 11, 2025, Bakersfield, CA: On Wednesday night, a motorcycle accident took place on a major highway in Bakersfield that led to injuries.
According to Bakersfield Now, the accident occurred at 8:15 p.m. in the northbound lanes of Highway 99 near Highway 58. Police confirmed that a motorcycle and a van collided with each other due to reasons that are not entirely known.
The motorcyclist, who has not yet been identified, was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries. Their current condition is not yet known.
Two lanes of traffic were blocked for some time.
