September 10, 2025, Coalinga, CA: An accident involving a box truck led to injuries on a major road in Coalinga on Wednesday afternoon.
The accident, according to information provided by California Highway Patrol, happened at 12:42 p.m. in the northbound lanes of I-5 near Milham Street. Police confirmed that a vehicle and a box truck collided with each other on the highway due to reasons that are not entirely known. This caused the box truck to veer off the side of the road and down an embankment.
Emergency responders were immediately called to the scene. At least one person suffered from injuries in the collision, though their condition is not yet known.
