Fresno, CA – On the evening of Monday, July 14, 2025, a two-vehicle crash involving an American Ambulance unit injured one woman, according to ABC30.
The Fresno Police Department reports that the collision occurred shortly after 8:00 PM near the intersection of Blackstone and Shields Avenues.
According to investigators, the American Ambulance unit was traveling westbound on Shields Avenue while responding to an emergency call when it collided with a vehicle turning eastbound onto Shields from Blackstone Avenue.
Two women were inside the turning vehicle. One of the women sustained injuries and was transported to Community Regional Medical Center. Police described her injuries as non-life-threatening. The second woman in the vehicle was not injured.
The ambulance crew was not transporting a patient at the time of the crash and did not report any injuries. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Personal Injury Claims
After a traffic accident, victims and their families often deal with unexpected financial burdens, such as medical bills, lost income, and, in the worst cases, burial costs. A Personal Injury Claim allows accident victims to hold the at-fault party financially responsible for their cost of care.
