July 14, 2025, Fresno, CA: A car accident involving an ambulance led to injuries at an intersection in Fresno on Monday night.
According to information provided by Your Central Valley, the accident happened around 8 p.m. at the intersection of Blackstone Avenue and Shields Avenue. Police confirmed that an American Ambulance was traveling west on Shields on their way to an emergency call. They were suddenly involved in a collision with a vehicle that was making an eastbound turn onto Shields from Blackstone.
Two women were inside the second vehicle. One of the women in the vehicle sustained injuries and was extracted from the car and then transported to CRMC for treatment. Nobody else was hurt in the accident and there were no patients in the ambulance at the time.
