Rancho Cordova, CA – On the evening of Tuesday, July 8, 2025, a two-vehicle collision resulted in critical injuries to one person and sent two others to the hospital, according to ABC10.
The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office reports that the accident took place around 5:30 PM near the intersection of Country Garden Drive and Kiefer Boulevard.
Authorities said the crash involved a truck and a sedan carrying three occupants. All three individuals inside the sedan were transported to a local hospital for treatment, with one of them reported to be in critical condition.
The occupants of the truck were not reported to be injured.
The cause of the collision has not been determined, though deputies stated that drugs and alcohol are not suspected factors at this time.
The incident remains under investigation by local law enforcement.
Personal Injury Claims & Comparative Negligence
Determining fault in a collision can involve multiple factors, and under California’s Comparative Negligence rule, several parties can share partial responsibility. Should evidence reveal that another party contributed to the injuries, victims may be eligible to file a Personal Injury Claim with the responsible party’s insurance, which can provide compensation for medical bills and lost wages during recovery.
