July 8, 2025, Porterville, CA: Two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision on a roadway in Porterville on Tuesday afternoon.
The accident, according to information provided by the Porterville Stringer, happened around 3:15 p.m. on Road 196 just south of Avenue 208. Police confirmed that a pickup truck and an SUV collided with each other due to reasons that are not entirely known. The pickup truck ended up on the side of the road with damages and the SUV crashed into the brush on the side of the road, sustaining severe damage.
Two patients sustained injuries in the accident. They were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
